Creative Dialogues Series

Mindfulness, Creativity, and Healing with Sarit Zeltzer

October 5, 10-11AM EST

We are delighted to welcome Sarit Zeltzer, M.A., an art psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, to our upcoming podcast episode. Specializing in trauma, crises, and emotional well-being, Sarit has dedicated her career to helping individuals restore balance and resilience through the integration of art therapy and mindfulness practices.

Sarit’s personal journey began more than 30 years ago, following a life-changing accident that led her to explore mindfulness and creativity as powerful tools for healing and growth. Since then, she has supported individuals in both clinical and community settings—from private practice to Rishpon Healing Farm, where she works with trauma survivors, medical professionals, and security personnel, including those affected by the Nova festival tragedy.

Beyond her therapeutic work, Sarit has also shared mindfulness and creativity with teachers and practitioners through the Ministry of Education, initiated the Mindfulness & Creativity Sangha following Jon Kabat-Zinn’s three-month retreat during COVID, and has presented at international conferences worldwide.

In this part, Sarit reflects on her history with art therapy and mindfulness, why mindfulness is more important than ever for therapists and clients, and what we can all learn about resilience and inner balance. She also offers a glimpse into her upcoming book, The Art of Feeling at Home: From Trauma to Resilience and Growth, which provides practical tools for navigating trauma and cultivating a sense of belonging within ourselves.

Tune in to hear Sarit’s inspiring journey, her insights on integrating mindfulness into therapy, and how creativity can guide us toward healing and transformation.
