CATE Art Hive
Creating Meaning Together

Dates:
1. March 26, 7 - 8:30PM EST
2. April 30, 12 - 1:30PM EST

For those who may be new to Art Hives, the name and methodology were developed by Dr. Janis Timm-Bottos, art therapist, professor, and a cherished mentor to many community art therapists across North America and internationally. Art Hives are inclusive, community-based spaces where people gather to create, share space, and build connection in a spirit of openness and mutual care. They are grounded in the belief that creativity should be accessible to all, and that artmaking can support both personal expression and a deeper sense of community belonging.

We need more and more of these spaces and we are delighted to open this first gathering with you; hope you will join us in great numbers for this meaningful occasion.

CATE Art Hive is a welcoming community space for our community to gather, create, and connect through art every month. We launched it, but it is on all of us to continue this journey together. Rooted in the spirit of shared creativity and mutual care, this monthly gathering invites participants to explore art materials in an open, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment. No artistic experience is needed, only a willingness to show up, make, reflect, and be in community. However, you will need to bring some artistic materials, at your choice.

The link will be provided to all the registered participants closer to the date.
